The main objective of the Fair Wear Foundation is to ensure that all the brands adhered to this certificate guarantee the best practices in their manufacturing processes.

This foundation believes in a world where the textile industry works side by side with the workers in the realization of their rights to safety in their jobs, in a dignified and remunerated way. The FWF focuses on the parts where most of the labor force is concentrated in the supply chain.

The FWF is based on internationally recognized standards based on the UN Human Rights Declaration and in the International Labor Organization conventions to guarantee:

AUDITORIES AND BETTER PLANS

The FWF conducts audits in order to know the real situation within the factory. A worker interviewer, a document inspector and a health and safety specialist are the key to discovering the underlying problems. Interviews are carried out on the staff inside and outside the factory in order to achieve a freer communication. Once the most conflicting points have been evaluated, an action plan is implemented to implement improvements in working conditions.
