The Handbook of the Good Walker, by Raimon Juventeny, is a necessary critique of this trend. It's a short, witty song to the joy of a good walk. [Excerpt from the prologue by Carl Honoré, a Canadian journalist, author of the book Praise of Slowness and Promoter of the Slow Movement].

    ADDITIONAL INFO:

The Handbook of the Good Walker, by Raimon Juventeny, is a necessary critique of this trend. It's a short, witty song to the joy of a good walk. [Excerpt from the prologue by Carl Honoré, Canadian journalist, author of the book Praise of Slowness and Promoter of the Slow Movement].

In just twenty points, set out in a brief and clear way, the Good Walker Handbook guides those who read it about the steps to follow to enjoy a healthy activity: walking for pleasure. Without haste, when it rains, stopping… the good walker “always sleeps well”. This is a great little book to rediscover the truly important thing: smile, observe nature, listen to what is happening around us, think, rest… The merit of the author, Raimon Juventeny, lies in having expressed it in a way graphic, simple, and brilliant.
